New Section for Scientific Outcomes of Large Research Infrastructures
2025-11-18
The CSTR Identification Platform has recently launched a dedicated section showcasing "Scientific Outcomes of Large Research Infrastructures". This new section is designed to provide achievement tracing and impact demonstration for major scientific facilities.
Leveraging CSTR, the section enables precise tracing of scientific outputs generated by large research infrastructures and their equipment and beamlines stations. It significantly enhances the discoverability and citability of research achievements, thereby facilitating transparent impact assessment and maximizing the value of these infrastructure resources. To date, the section has served 32 major research infrastructures, encompassing 355 equipment and beamlines. Its coverage extends to 326 journals across 89 specialized fields, including chemistry, physics, and materials science, with connections to 1,612 research institutions and 8,843 researchers, providing essential data foundation and service support for China's large research infrastructures.
